About Us

Croatian Red Cross is the National Society of the Red Cross of the Republic Croatia with headquarters in Zagreb, recognized by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

Croatian Red Cross provides its services through the National Society in Zagreb and 130 Red Cross branches with legal entity in counties, cities and municipalities.

Croatian Red Cross is an independent non-governmental organization providing services and activities aimed to helping persons in need. In its daily work, the Croatian Red Cross performs tasks in the area of health protection and improvement, social care, health and humanitarian education, and promotes the international humanitarian law and protection of human rights.

Croatian Red Cross is guided by the seven fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
